NDIS funding.

Funding overview.

All disability funding is extremely tailored and delivered through the NDIS. There is no one-size-fits-all format for funding, so each individual receives funding unique to them and their needs. For example, if you have two teenagers with the same disability, their funding could look very different.

  • Applying for funding.

    Funding applications are done through the NDIS. This is a national Government body that helps determine your funding level as well as the types of care you might need.


    This can be done over the phone on 1800 800 110; the call centre will then post you forms for yourself and a health professional to complete. You can also download and complete the application form online here. You can return your application and supporting medical reports via email at NAT@ndis.gov.au, or by post to GPO Box 700, Canberra ACT 2601.


    We understand the application process can be overwhelming. If you need assistance, you’re invited to call our friendly coordinators — this is a free service we offer. We’ll even come to your place, sit down with you, and go over it in person. Even if you end up going with a different service provider, we’re happy to help!

We hope you’ll feel that your initial complaint has been resolved with us, but if you would like to take your concerns further, you’re more than welcome to.

Formal complaints are lodged through the NDIS Quality and Safe Guarding Commission. You can do this by calling 1800 035 544 or through their online form. You can also send a written complaint to NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at PO Box 210, Penrith NSW 2750.
